From Conference Co-chairs

Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Australian and New Zealand Marketing Academy (ANZMAC), I am delighted to be a co-chair for the 2023 Global Marketing Conference (GMC) at Seoul.
Reflecting GAMMA’s mission of global cooperation, 2023 GMC brings together a truly international group of co-hosts, sponsoring journals, scholars, and practitioners. Under the leadership of Professors Ko and Kim and the GAMMA organisation, we will have the opportunity to once again converge as a worldwide marketing community to share our latest research with likeminded colleagues.
Frequently topping Bloomberg’s Global Innovation Index, South Korea is one of the most technologically advanced and digitally connected countries in the world. This makes it the ideal city to explore the theme of the 2023 GMC, “Marketing & Management Transformation in the Challenging Digital Environment”. Those of us who have had the pleasure of visiting Seoul know what a lively, cultural, and technologically advanced city it is to visit, and I’m sure you will be keen to returning to this captivating city. If you are yet to experience wonderful Korean hospitality, you won’t be disappointed. I encourage all of you, especially scholars who have not yet been to Seoul, to attend the 2023 GMC.
Conferences are primarily intended to foster the exchange of scientific ideas and provide the space to discuss the challenges and opportunities faced by our discipline. By bringing together global knowledge and expertise to present their research and engage in discourse, 2023 GMC will stimulate the intellectual and innovative pursuits of all delegates. You will have the chance to reconnect with old friends as well as establish new friendships and transnational collaborations.
I look forward to your participation and meeting you at 2023 GMC!
